When it comes to impeccable taste, flawless fashion, and laser-cut precision, Cary Santiago is the name you can trust. The world-renowned fashion designer is set to wow audiences at the upcoming Love Gala, Asia’s premier charity and awards gala, happening on World AIDS Day, December 1, at the BGC Arts Center in Taguig. Santiago joins the list of elite Filipino couturiers who will unveil their remarkable collections in support of the fight against HIV and AIDS in the country.
The Cebuano designer is the epitome of natural talent married with hard work. He had an early start in the industry. At 15, he was already designing for an RTW company in Cebu, and not long after did he start working for high-profile clients. At 23, he started his own business from a tiny room he was renting that doubled as his office. Santiago also found success abroad and was based in the Middle East for about a decade. He also trained in Paris.
Santiago is best known for his opulent bridal designs and haute couture collections for women. A true tastemaker with close to three decades in the cutthroat fashion industry, he continually innovates with his classic, glamorous, and romantic aesthetic merged with modern and masterful techniques. To see Santiago’s pieces first-hand at the upcoming Love Gala is not something to be missed.
Top designers Francis Libiran, Cheetah Rivera, Nat Manilag, and John Herrera will also showcase their stunning creations at Love Gala.
