One of today's most sought-after Filipino designers is set to fire up the runway at the first-ever Love Gala, Asia's premier charity and awards gala, on World AIDS Day, December 1, 2017, at the BGC Arts Center in Taguig. Cheetah Rivera joins the select list of renowned local couturiers who will showcase their fine collections in support of the fight against HIV and AIDS in the country.
Known for her sophisticated and innovative aesthetic, Rivera continues to make her mark in the fashion industry with her flawless designs and refreshing creativity. For the upcoming Love Gala, attendees can expect nothing less.
Rivera's love for fashion and dreams of becoming a designer were ripe as early as the age of 12. In later years, the budding transgender designer went on to study at the Philippine Fashion institute. Rivera's undeniable talent and relentless passion for her craft was brought into the spotlight during her stint in Project Runway Philippines Season 3 (2012), where she was easily the crowd favorite and took the runner-up spot.
A staple in the local fashion scene, Rivera continues to excite and innovate with every runway show, glossy spread, line, and silhouette. And with her participation in Love Gala, the style savant proves her power to inspire transcends catwalks and magazine pages.
Love Gala attendees can also expect to be blown away by the breathtaking creations of top designers Francis Libiran, Cary Santiago, Nat Manilag, and John Herrera.
Love Gala tickets, now sold at lovegala.org/tickets, ensures the advocacy partner-donors access to the premier charity and awards gala with premium accommodation. Donor-guests can reserve the following seats: VIP (P7,000.00), Patron (P5,000.00), Balcony A (P1,500.00), and Balcony B (P1,000.00). Part of the proceeds will benefit the worthwhile activities of partner organizations.
