Nat Manilag has been making dreams come true for years through his exquisite fashion creations for men and women. Not only is he the top-of-mind designer for celebrities, Manilag is also one of the country’s most coveted wedding couturiers. On December 1, 2017, World AIDS Day, he is set to share his awe-inspiring gift in support of the HIV and AIDS advocacy as he takes part in the first-ever Love Gala, Asia’s premier charity and awards gala, to be held at the BGC Arts Center in Taguig.

Manilag, alongside a select list of top Filipino fashion designers, will be showcasing his tasteful and elevated aesthetic in an elegant fashion show. Attendees can expect to be blown away by this artist’s genius.

Manilag started his career in fashion in 2007 as a wedding couturier, but his passion for the craft had blossomed many years before. He loved sketching as a child and dreamed of one day becoming a successful fashion designer. Armed with a dream and his unbeatable tenacity and talent, Manilag rose from his humble beginnings to become the commanding fashion force he is today.

The AB Communication Arts graduate of the Fr. Saturnino Urios University in Butuan City is also a proud product of the Fashion Institute of the Philippines where he majored in Basic and Advanced Pattern-Making and Haute Couture, as well as the Central Saint Martins in London where he studied six programs including Fashion London, Draping Women’s Wear Design, Designing for the Fashion Market, Fashion Designing and Marketing, How to Start Your Own Fashion Business, and Summer Study Abroad- Fashion Designing.

Other renowned Filipino designers joining Love Gala are Francis Libiran, Cary Santiago, Cheetah Rivera, and John Herrera.

The event will gather social advocates, game changers, famed influencers, world-class performers, and top celebrities led by Miss Universe 2015 and UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador for Asia and the Pacific, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alacasid will be performing live together with a star-studded lineup including Morissette Amon, Wency Cornejo, Radha, Audie Gemora, Shiela Valderrama, Phi Palmos, Nicole Asensio, Polly Cabrera, and other surprise guests.

There will be breathtaking works of art on display featuring augmented reality technology, as well as pieces painted with the blood of a person living with HIV. Ten outstanding Filipino individuals who have made unparalleled contributions to the HIV and AIDS advocacy in the country will also be honored in the first-ever Ripple Awards.

Love Gala tickets, now sold at lovegala.org/tickets, ensures the advocacy partner-donors access to the premier charity and awards gala with premium accommodation. Donor-guests can reserve the following seats: VIP (P7,000.00), Patron (P5,000.00), Balcony A (P1,500.00), and Balcony B (P1,000.00). Part of the proceeds will benefit the worthwhile activities of partner organizations.
